The neighborhood approaches San Francisco’s outskirts, but this friendly community shares the same intimate vibe of its more central neighbors. It is a quiet residential area of families and many longtime San Francisco residents. Colorful homes replete with blooming gardens line Mission Terrace’s surprisingly sunny streets, and local markets and pizza parlors are more common than strip malls and national chains. Cayuga Playground park is just a few minutes walk down the street and is worth a visit. Considered to be one of San Francisco’s hidden gems. The Balboa Park transit station with BART (regional trains for the Bay Area) and MUNI (San Francisco trams and buses) is a 5 minute walk. Although it’s bounded by several transportation corridors (freeways and BART stations included) our neighborhood manages to remain quiet while providing quick easy access to energetic night time neighborhoods. Few minutes away is the Mission Street business corridor with eateries, bars, stores and services, and a Safeway grocery store. The Ocean Avenue is just beyond Balboa Park BART Station provides you access to more eateries and shops, including Whole Foods, Target, Walgreens & CVS.
