I'm what you would call an "Accidental Host". My skills as a professional photographer lead me to meeting with a gentleman who was looking to sell some property here in the desert. I'm tech savvy as well and next thing you know I'm managing his properties for him here in the desert and in Europe. Word of mouth spread and now two years later, I have a portfolio of vacation rentals here in 29 Palms. I've been a resident here in the desert for 29 years and counting. Joshua Tree National Park is my "church" and my photography muse. I love sharing my passion for this arid landscape with visitors from all over the world. Whether it be sharing some of my favorite locations in the park or dining at one of our local restaurants. There's more here to do than meets the eye. I encourage you to connect with locals and experience as much of this unique landscape while you are here.

"What draws us into the desert is the search for something intimate in the remote." ~Edward Abbey The property is located in a safe, tranquil rural neighborhood of Twentynine Palms which is comprised of a variety of homesteads that were built between the 1930's through the 1960's. Recorded history tells us that the area now known as Twentynine Palms dates back to 1855 when Colonel Henry Washington traveled to the area to conduct a survey of the land. Prior to that, the desert was inhabited by Native Americans from the Chemeheuvi tribe. Across the street to the south is the historic 29 Palms Public Cemetary which was founded in 1934 by William "Bill" Lage
