What began as weekend getaways soon became a shared adventure: creating The Riverfront Chalet, a place to gather, recharge, and reconnect with nature. Every stay left us feeling more grounded, and we wanted to share that joy with others. Ania brings the eye for design and guest experience; Colin brings the passion for comfort, tech, and storytelling. As for the neighborhood, Chiwawa River Pines is a serene alpine enclave tucked between the Wenatchee River and the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Guests love the peaceful setting, direct access to trails, and proximity to seasonal activities. Just 5 minutes away is Plain—a quaint village with coffee, groceries, wine tasting, and friendly locals. In 10 minutes, you're at Lake Wenatchee; in 25, downtown Leavenworth. Stevens Pass Ski Resort is only 30 minutes away. A car is recommended, especially in winter when AWD/4WD or chains may be required on mountain passes. Most guests fly into Seattle-Tacoma (SEA) or Pangborn (EAT) and drive in. Train and shuttle service to Leavenworth is available, but local transit is limited. Parking is free and easy on-site.
