Our bright and charming cottage has amazing mountain views and is located in a quiet neighborhood only three blocks to downtown Joseph. It has a cozy fireplace, king bed, a perfect deck, outdoor fire pit, and a large, fenced yard for your pup. Outfitted with comfy furniture, a well-stocked kitchen, and cozy touches, Serendipity Cottage is the perfect choice for travelers that are looking for a recreational base camp. What you can expect: --2 bedrooms (king, queen) --1 full bathroom with tub/shower --Cozy living room with fireplace --Full kitchen outfitted with everything you need for simple or gourmet meals --A deck & outdoor furniture with amazing mountain views --A huge fence yard for you and your pup
I recently sold my company in Bend, Oregon and am currently practicing "first retirement" while I figure out my next entrepreneurial adventure. In the meantime, I am a hospitality and event consultant, working with independent lodges, resorts and hotels to help elevate their online presence and streamline operations. Outside of work, I'm a helluva community volunteer, avid outdoorsman, obsessive reader, pretty decent cook, dog lover, pig whisperer and generally like to spend my time outside on my bike, skies or my own two feet. Joseph is a community of about 1500 people, located at the edge of Wallowa Lake and the base of the Wallowa Mountains. You'll fall in love with the beauty and will stay for the people. Definitely take time to check out Wallowa Lake, The Wallowa Lake Tram, Joseph Rail Riders, and check out some of our favorite restaurants like Terminal Gravity, Embers, the Blythe Cricket, The Flying Pig, The Dog Spot and Sugartime Baking.
