We believe in the importance of connecting to nature, of re-wilding, of retreating inward to find ourselves. Living a creative life and taking care of our forest, our community and each other. We may or may not be staying next door to meet the guests in person.

The house is tucked away at the end of a private road with just a few other houses nearby. The town of Phoenicia has shops, a flea market, a farmers market, farm stands, great places to eat and drink like the Phoenicia Diner and Woodstock Brewery. Near hiking, skiing, fly-fishing, and more. The Menla Mountain Retreat center with Dewa spa is right up the road. Besides dipping your feet in the stream, the house is in walking distance of a few swimming holes. 4-wheel drive is recommended in winter. Driving is recommended.
