The Bamboo House, a hosted rental by Vera Hawaii, is a two story, three-bedroom home that echoes a relaxed way of life. It features a large shared kitchen, sunny common living room, and an outdoor hanging bed on the back lanai with views of the tropical backyard. The rental suites are located on the second story. The host lives downstairs in the same home. The Zen Suite (Deluxe Double Room) is a bright and airy 220 sq. ft. room with a private bathroom, a spacious walk in shower, and Queen-sized bed. Enjoy a charming private balcony, a calming minimalist aesthetic, and a convenient desk workspace. The Satori Suite (Double Room with Private Bathroom) is a bright and airy 170 sq. ft. room with a private bathroom and Queen-sized bed. Enjoy its calming minimalist aesthetic and charming private balcony with outdoor hammock. Enjoy a morning coffee or healthy smoothie on your peaceful lanai, indulge in some reading on the hanging daybed and immerse yourself in the laid back lifestyle of Hawaii. To make your stay comfortable, the suites are well stocked with amenities like tea/coffee, deluxe toiletries, hydrating facial masks, bathrobes, Turkish beach towels, insect repellent, yoga gear, cooler basket, clothes steamer and iron, reef safe sunscreen and more eco-minded touches. With a complimentary set of body boards, beach and snorkel gear, The Bamboo House has everything you need for your relaxing Hawaiian retreat. Please note, the home does not have air conditioning. The suites are equipped with a ceiling fan and a tower fan. Please keep this in mind when booking, as we know it is important to some travelers. A lockable bedroom door and in-suite safe are provided for guests.

The Bamboo House is located in a residential neighborhood just minutes away from the shops and restaurants of downtown Kailua-Kona and many nearby beaches. You are just one minute from the main highway that takes you to all of the island’s best destinations for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing. The Bamboo House is centrally located making it easy to access many destinations in Kona. The best parts of the Big Island are only accessible via car, so we recommend renting one for your visit. We are 20 minutes from the Kona International Airport, five minutes from grocery stores, and 10 minutes from Magic Sands Beach.
