Welcome to Barn and Bike. We started renovations in 2012 and opened in 2014 - much of it done by our own hands. We have two spaces: 1) an old 1700 sq. foot barn - a space that has been highlighted in the press and photo shoots. And 2) a 600 sq foot farmhouse suite, part of the home we live in. (Please note in Booking's app and online, the photos for the suite - from the pinball machine onwards - are for the barn listing - something Booking says we momentarily can't change.) The smaller, private farmhouse suite is attached to the home we live in, but sound is buttressed by multiple walls, making the 600 sq ft. space fully private, with your own entrance. The original portion of our eyebrow colonial was built in 1800. Please note the suite is not suitable for children, and 2 guests max in suite, 5 in barn (with rates changing per guest in the barn). Inquire if interested in bike rentals (see last photo) or tours. Lastly, if a 2nd bed is needed in the suite, we have a set up fee but Booking AI does not let us mention that. Please inquire giving us advanced notice. It is a wood frame bed with real mattress.

We, Molly and Gregg, are grateful to live in this beautiful, dramatic, yet pastoral area. We cobble together and juggle jobs and passions to make a decent life. Definitely we are into art and an eclectic range of music and food. We only interact with guests on an as-needed basis, but we enjoy greeting guests on arrival and saying bye if it works out.

We are in a dramatic, bucolic river valley (the pristine Roeliff Jansen Kille) in a stretch of the Tahghkanic mountain range. Incredible hikes exist in all directions, while entertainment, shopping and fine dining can be found in 7 different quaint, cultured small towns, all within 7-25 minutes of driving.
