This became reality many years later, purchasing a contemporary & elegant log home in Bridgton, ME...The "Ski Hive" Luxury Log Home Slopeside at Pleasant Mnt Ski Area. We fell in love with this area, so we decided to launch our own vacation rental home & wedding businesses. Also our goto wedding property with some 100 weddings hosted since 2016. - Lake View at Stone Mnt Lodge in Brownfield, ME, 3 miles away from Birch Ridge. Sold in 2022 - Newly Renovated Chic Farmhouse & Barn. This 7 bedroom farmhouse is located on 20 acres of pristine privacy & has been host to some 30 beautiful, country-themed weddings. - Blue Spruce Lodge in Brownfield, ME, An elegant, magistic, cedar log home with superior 130 degree views of 40 White Mountain Peaks. - Acadia Cabin has been added in between Birch Ridge & Blue Spruce Lodge (completing our 3 home 29 acre Log Home Compound) - South Pond Farm & Wedding Barn in Buckfield, ME *We hope to share some of our joy with you & your group/family!

There is cable TV and Wi-Fi providing a first class Log home experience for multiple families. Our log home has been featured on the TV station WPXT on their 'Buy Local' Show & has been displayed on The Maine Cedar Log Home website. Our walk-in first level main entrance opens into a "mudroom" to store ski gear in our two large closets. The first Floor houses 2 bedrooms that sleep up to 10 guests, including 3 bunkbeds.T he downstairs living room is home to a 42’ flat screen TV, sectional couch, and numerous board games/puzzles. Nestled in the basement is a laundry room that guests can use. On the main level sits, 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and 1 with a full bed. Also on the main level is our gourmet kitchen (fully stocked) with an island (seats 4), granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The dining room features a large table (seats 10) for family gatherings. You will love our great room's 20+ ft cathedral pine ceiling, Australian cypress hard wood floors, & grand field stone fire place. The room is filled with natural light from 4 french sliding doors and an A frame window set. There is also a 75 ft wrap-around covered porch.

Trailside Woods is a quint private village of some 20 log homes perched on the East Side Slopeside at Pleasant Mnt Ski Area. We provide a 42 page conceirge guide (hard copy in home) for activities/things to do in the area, including shopiing, restaurants, hiking, skiing etc.
