Our charming location places us in the picturesque hills above the iconic Pasadena Rose Bowl, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant Pasadena Convention Center, JPL, and the esteemed Art Center College of Design. Nature enthusiasts will delight in our proximity to scenic hiking trails that offer breathtaking views of La Cañada. Additionally, we are conveniently close to Hollywood and Universal Studios, accessible within approximately 25 minutes by car or by a convenient Metro ride. For those seeking a magical escape, Disneyland is a mere 45 minutes away. It's no surprise that many of our guests have affiliations with prestigious institutions like JPL, Caltech, City of Hope, and Occidental.

Constructed in the vibrant era of the 1920s, this exquisite Spanish Mediterranean estate was initially crafted by two visionary women hailing from Chicago. The residence stands out for its exceptional assortment of 1920s Batchelder tiles, renowned for their artistry and historical significance. William Batchelder, a prominent artisan in the American Arts and Crafts Movement, left his mark as a tile maker and made significant contributions as the founder of the esteemed Pasadena Playhouse. The handcrafted tiles, typically found in limited quantities adorning fireplaces, take center stage in the grandeur of the Patrician Great Room, where an entire floor is decorated with this splendid and rare tile.
