Our Historic Perkin's House, circa 1870, boasts 3 rooms within the main home, as well as a suite located in the renovated carriage house, attached to main home, complete with sliding barn door, which can accommodate families nicely: cozy and quaint town, walk to shops and dining, Cornish offers many festivals, and with proximity to so many other towns and cities, the list of activities is endless. We are a four season town and home! 2.5 hours to Boston, 45 minutes from Portland, 35 minutes to N. Conway. NH. So close to the ski resorts, White Mountain, St. Joseph's College, Bridgton. We are an authentic Bed & Breakfast
My husband and I love to travel. LOVE! I work in real estate (many years of HR , as well as fitness , too) and my husband is a school teacher... (retired police officer.) We have 1 of our boys still with us in the nest, and he's a rising high schooler. We love all kinds of movies and music..yet also enjoy plays and classics. My husband loves to create wonderful cuisine, ride his motorcycle, and enjoys a good craft beer and cigar... and I love to read, run, decorate and garden!!! We are definately an interesting mix, (and) I love dragonflies, which can be found abundantly throughout our home!! I am originally from Ithaca, NY area and my husband from Columbia, SC. We married and have moved North from the Greenville, SC area to pursue our dreams of operating a B&B!! Yes, we are retiring to the snow country and HAPPY!! We are looking foward to offering our home and town for you all to enjoy and experience! Life motto: " Life is a journey... not a destination"...
18 miles to Shawnee Peak ski and in quaint Cornish village, We are centrally located to many activities and adventures : York Beaches, Portland city life, shopping, FOOD & sites, N Conway, NH for ski, ON snowmobile trail & Boston is 2.5 hours away!
