Vero Mountain is within the city limits of Mars Hill, NC. The surrounding area offers amazing hikes, breweries, and local attractions (check out our guidebook). Located 35 minutes away from downtown Asheville, 45 minutes away from Asheville Regional Airport, and 1 mile from Wolf Laurel Community & Wolf Ridge Ski Resort. Viewable mountain ranges from the property of the Blue Ridge Parkway include Mount Mitchell & Mount Pisgah. The Appalachian Trail is accessible just a couple miles away.
We recommend stopping by the grocery store & grabbing drinking water on your way in. The nearest grocery stores are Wolf Provisions - 15 minutes or Ingles - 20 minutes away. Downtown Mars Hill & Burnsville, both 20 minutes away offer a variety of restaurants and shopping. MARS HILL IS A DRY COUNTY, if needed please get spirits in neighbors towns Burnsville or Weaverville.
