There are on site restaurants and convenience shop, but not easy walking to any other island attractions. It sits on an East Facing Oceanfront Beach, and the grounds are stunningly beautiful, but a car is essential to explore attractions outside of the Hotel/Resort Grounds. Definitely recommend renting a car on Kauai for exploring. Parking is Free at the the Kauai Beach Villas
