I LOVE travelling. I have been fortunate to have been able to explore dozens of countries over the years and love meeting new people and experiencing new places, food, and cultures. Enjoy! I tried to bring the outside in with hanging plants and tranquil furnishings to make you feel like you're on a retreat. The apartment is recently renovated with a brand new bathroom. You'll have everything you need here for a great stay. Guest access You will have full access in the apartment; there are no locked doors or cabinets. Other things to note The apartment is on the first floor and part of a building with 7 other apartments. There is free shared laundry right down stairs in the basement where you'll find two washers and two dryers - **please note it is a shared laundry and not in the unit itself** **PLEASE NOTE** the front porch upstairs is a shared space but you are more than welcome to use it. It is not connected directly to the apartment** **CAUTION** If you have the heater turned on please be careful of the floor grate where the heat comes out as it can get hot when it's on. Please be mindful not to step on it barefoot to avoid an injury.

Memphis, Tennessee, United States Walk out the front door and 100 yards down the street brings you to a bustling corner with a jazz restaurant, Moroccan and Mexican restaurants and, of course, a delicious BBQ joint. Keep walking or take a short uber another .75 miles to Overton square, one of Memphis' most happening areas with a host of other restaurants and bars. Head downtown the other direction in a short uber and you'll find yourself engulfed in Memphis' blues scene on the famous Beale street. In addition to the many great eateries (which you'll find in the guidebook i'll send you) there are several parks nearby and places to relax. Getting around Uber or Lyft are readily available and definitely the best option. There is a trolley that runs down Madison and will bring you to downtown if you want a little more of a historic experience heading downtown.
