This renovated historic cottage has a large outdoor dining deck on Groveland Creek, a stroll away from downtown. You are literally a walking distance away from everything Groveland has to offer. Within a few blocks you can find, restaurants, bars, coffee shop, gallery, library, store, postal office, meat market, playground and all this is only 25 miles from Yosemite. Next door to the house is Mountain Sage cafe, gallery and gardens where you can enjoy an outdoor concert/workshop and meet locals.
We respect your privacy. As no one will be greeting you unless asked, someone is on call 24 hours a day, and the Mountain Sage nursery and gardens is always just steps away if needed.
One of the few houses in downtown Groveland that has access to walking paths and gardens along Groveland Creek. It is next door to Mountain Sage, with two acres of gardens surrounding the cottage, as well as just down the block from some of the best restaurants in town. The cottage is within one mile of Pine Mountain Lake, approximately 22 miles to Yosemite National Park & 15 minutes to Lake Don Pedro. Our favorite forest service lands with mountain biking and hiking trails are just minutes away. Yosemite YARTS buses meet two blocks from the location, with the chamber of commerce one block away. Although off street parking is limited to three cars, additional parking for other guests can be arranged upon request. Bike trails start at the back of the property, and can be taken all the way to Yosemite. Be sure to ask at Mountain Sage or email us for more info!
