The grounds include landscaping, stonework, a covered outdoor kitchen/bar, two tree houses, garden beds, a fruit orchard, and a water feature attracting birds and frogs. Sleep on our organic percale cotton sheets with down comforters. Bedroom 1 has a King bed, Bedroom 2 a Queen bed, both with Saatva Classic 11.5” Luxury Firm mattresses, and Bedroom 3 a 71” convertible futon. The gourmet kitchen has a 5’x12’ granite countertop, gas range, double convection oven, Technivorm coffee maker, Breville burr grinder, Vitamix blender, KitchenAid mixer, All Clad cookware, and tableware. We stock the pantry with herbs, spices, olive oil, coffee, and teas. Dine outdoors with our Weber grill, smoker, and tableware. We’re Aubrey and Daniel Duerr, and we purchased the Vineyard Chateau in 2012, spending a decade renovating the entire property, inside and out. After moving in 2021, we opened the home as a vacation rental to share its beauty and keep it vibrant when we are not there enjoying it ourselves. We’re passionate about hospitality and sustainability, powering the home with 100% solar energy, a solar-heated pool, and a Tesla Wall Connector charger, ensuring an eco-friendly, luxurious retreat for you. In 2016, we planted our 2/3-acre Merlot vineyard and founded CVVC winery, producing our artisan Vincent Vines Merlot, available to guests 21+ by the bottle or as part of personalized wine experiences, like poolside pairings or vineyard tours with a local wine professional, bookable via our guest store. Our co-host, Kathie, lives nearby and is your primary contact, ensuring responsive support while giving you privacy. The Vineyard Chateau is a working estate with a vineyard, orchard, and landscaping requiring regular maintenance. Our caretaker lives in a unit over 150 feet from the main house, and team members visit occasionally. We schedule their work around your stay to minimize disturbance, but you may notice some activity during longer visits. This keeps the property functional, beautiful, and special.
