The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a lush 14-acre plot of land. Walk past the furnished patio, and you’ll find a series of hiking trails, walking paths, and scenic views of this forested area! Head out to explore the local eateries surrounding Newberg on the night's that you don't want to cook. Subterra Restaurant is a quick 21-minute drive from the property and is a local favorite for contemporary American classics, such as blue crab truffle risotto and chicken roasted under a brick. There are a variety of different wineries to choose from in Willamette Valley, but if you had to pick just a few, be sure to check out the closest ones to the property, including Ponzi Winery, Raptor Ridge Winery and Ruby Vineyard. If you prefer hops to grapes, drive 18 minutes to reach the Two Kilts Brewing Company. This unique local brewery offers an indoor as well as an outdoor seating area with a multitude of delicious creations to sample! You'll also want to check Willamette Valley's calendar to see if you're in town for one of the splendid wine or beer events, including July's Oregon Craft Beer Month featuring countless local breweries and tap houses with special pairings and deals and the International Pinot Noir Celebration in July, where wine enthusiasts can taste Oregon's most famous wine! Other events include Oregon Wine Country Thanksgiving, the Oregon Truffle Festival, and Oregon Wine Month during May, which is capped off with Memorial Day Weekend in Oregon Wine Country, when almost every vineyard in the valley opens up for special tours and barrel tastings.
