I signed up as a rental host in September of 2022. As a big city dweller in the past, I am thrilled that I can enjoy the beauty and tranquility of central Virginia. As a naturalized US citizen, I am interested in American history, traditions, and way of life. I like the outdoors and fresh air (as I earn my living designing particle detectors and running experiments from windowless ``counting houses'' at the National Labs). I enjoy walking and hiking, camping and backpacking, sledding and snow-shoeing, on- and off-road biking, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, swimming, snorkeling, spelunking, sailing, traveling, sub bathing, geocaching, playing board games, cooking and grilling, wine/cider/beer tastings, eating and drinking, target shooting, hunting and fishing, star-gazing and meteor shower watching and people watching. I am an omnivorous reader and movie watcher and have way too many books and DVDs;8-{} First Aid: I am certified in Heartsaver First Aid and Adult/Child/Infant CPR and AED, and Wilderness First Aid. Certifications: I am a certified NRA handgun and shotgun instructor. Other tidbits: I am born and grew up in Zagreb, Croatia.
