La Maison has 3 restored wooden houses of Dzay & H’mong people, plus 2 duplex bungalows specialize for our dear couple or small family. It has no luxury swimming pool, no TV, no air conditioner but always have hot water and internet available, warm blankets to give you the most comfort. All simple and beautiful things such as a new vase of flowers from the wild flowers blooming along the road. You will feel like you touch the green mountains and forests. The deck offers privacy and is perfect for dining outside and enjoying the view of the mountains. The interior decor has Vietnamese textiles and authentic styling for you to experience the H’mong/Dzay way of living. Please be aware that we have no receptionist, sometimes Nicole and Chau will be there to hang out, sometimes not. During your stay, you will have a butler who come to clean the house daily, make breakfast/lunch/dinner base on your request. For the bungalows, you always can drop by the restaurant next door to have breakfast, from 8-10am. Then you will have your privacy the whole time ^^ *** BEDROOMS: The house has 4-5 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms in each house, The bungalows has its own bathroom. Each room has a large window. The family room is spacious and also can access through backyard from glass door. The attic with view overlooking the bamboo forest/the sky light at night. Book a private room or the entire place for a group or family. *** KITCHEN (for the house): has a refrigerator, rice cooker, electric kettle and toaster. We have provided you with tea and coffee. A large bottle of drinking water is supplied for guests and replaced by the butler. The water to the house is from the mountain streams above and is plentiful and suitable for cooking. *** BATHROOMS The Houses has two bathrooms downstairs near the kitchen, liquid hand-wash is provided. Please note, in Vietnam, we put toilet paper in the bin provided and DO NOT flush as it blocks the pipe.

In the HMong language, Ta Van means a large arc, because the village leans against the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and the front is the winding Muong Hoa stream. Therefore, the nature of Ta Van is compared to the original soul of Sapa - majestic, poetic, clear. Ta Van village is also a place where the Mong people live for a long time, and is also the place where the Red Dao and Dzay live. Our neighborhood is all friendly, most of them are really good at english although they are minority people, you can go around, see and talk with them supper easily and have fun in helping them doing house work. **Temperature SaPa altitude gives us cool temperatures, breezes flowing through the mountains, and humidity. Four seasons with summer can be 25-27 degree and winter could reach to 0 degree. Bring a warm jacket or purchase one in SaPa town. **About Ta Van Village Ta Van is a village in the Muong Hoa valley and home to the ethnic minorities of the H’mong, Dao and Dzay tribes. The village has traditional stilt and simple wooden houses. There are many cafes and a few restaurants to cater to people staying in local guesthouses and homestay. Surrounding the village are rice fields supporting the local community and some local artisans producing musical instruments, engraved silver, and textiles. **What travelers love about Ta Van Village Our guests love being among the rice fields and the ethnic tribes for an authentic cultural experience. Everywhere you walk, the scenery is breathtaking. The village has everything you need for a short or long stay, with cafes, markets and peaceful surroundings. The village is an excellent trekking base when you want to go to nearby villages. Walking along the rice paddies with local guides provides knowledge and a safer experience. **How to get here Night bus arrives daily from Ha Noi to Sapa. Ta Van village is located 10 km SaPa and is approximately a 25-minute drive. Our preferred taxi driver will bring you directly to the house.
