A real homestay with family connection, located by Mekong River, Sông Mê Home features rooms on the top floor and garden levels. Surrounded by tropical fruit orchards and small canals. Rowing boat and fishing trips can be arranged. It offers the opportunity to experience the true culture & life style of the local people. Four generations of our family were born and grew up on this island. We offer special rate for the stay with at least 2 nights. Starting from Aug. 24, please allow us to collect some fee for bicycle using to cover maintenance cost. We actually wanted to offer this service for free as we always did but it has turned out not to be efficient for us and our guests. We have made this change to offer you a better road experience with the bicycles. It is also not fair to add the cost to all room rates because not all guests would use bicycles. We hope to have your understanding. Thank you!

All rooms come with air conditioning and a sumptuous warm shower for the rainy days, as well as a terrace with views overlooking the garden and river. A sun terrace on the roof top is also available for guests to relax . Our family can assist with car rental services and sightseeing arrangements by boat. Guests will be served a tasty selection of authentic Southern Vietnamese cuisine by our home kitchen. Our mum and brother love to cook!

Neighborhood info

Sông Mê Home ist just 1 km from Đình Khao ferry and 8,5 km from Vinh Long city, while Ho Chi Minh City is a 2 hours 30 minutes drive away. It is a 1 hour drive from Can Tho airport. There is a bus driving from Ho Chi Minh City (District 5) to our place. We can also assist with bus ticket booking to Can Tho, Sa Dec or Ben Tre, occasionally to Mui Ne or Da Lat.
