Our story began back in 2005, during a holiday in South Africa while travelling along the beautiful Garden Route. We were captivated by a particular part of the coast and found ourselves in a charming little village. Over the years, we returned to South Africa many times but could never quite recall the name of that special place. Then, in 2017, while journeying along the Garden Route once more, we stumbled upon it again — Pringle Bay. This time, we completely fell in love with its natural beauty, peaceful atmosphere, and welcoming community. From that moment, it became a tradition, and we returned every year. By 2020, Edith and I decided it was time to find a holiday home in Pringle Bay — a place where our family could gather, relax, and create memories for years to come. We also dreamed of opening it up to travellers from near and far to experience this little slice of paradise. Remarkably, just two days before the end of our holiday, the perfect house came on the market. We arranged a viewing, and the moment we stood on the balcony, taking in the views and the sound of the ocean just steps away, we knew it was meant to be. And so our Pringle Bay story truly began.
