This retreat is located in quiet Swellendam in the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains. The spacious rooms feature modern décor with rustic touches and living areas with flat-screen satellite TVs. All accommodation at A Hilltop Country Retreat is self-catering, and includes a kitchen with a gas stove and a refrigerator. Guests have the option of having the refrigerator stocked with breakfast items. Barbecue facilities are available to guests, and a packed lunch service is also offered. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. A range of activities can be organised at the retreat, including hiking and horse riding. The retreat also offers a library and massage services can be booked. A Hilltop Country Retreat is just 5 minutes’ drive from Swellendam Golf Club, and 10 minutes’ drive from Bontebok National Park. Drostdy Museum is a 10 minute walk away.
