We have our great Hopefield Produce Market for all types of local produce and a place to sit and chat (Sat 10-2) Just further down River Road is OppieStoeppie (Sat 9-2) who sell Roosterbrood, Cakes, Samoosas, gluten free breakfast and a few other light meals which you can enjoy out on the veranda Brickwall Gallery is run by a husband/wife duo who not only sell their own investment art pieces, but also showcase the work of other local artists Simply Bee has a product & coffee shop (with divine Carrot Cake etc) as well as a Bee Observation Centre Hopfield also has its own Museum just left of the municipality building opposite SPAR There are a number of eateries in town (Hello, G’s & Fermeas) Other activities in the near vicinity include - Cape Camino, Whacky Adventures (Water Park & Quad biking) ,Plaasmol Coffee Shop, Farmstall, Animal Farm, Nursery & Pub, Fossil Park, a 3-hour bird photography boat trip up the Berg River (available on certain dates or a private booking can be arranged), or if you’re not interested in the photography aspect there are also 1 or 2 hour boat excursions up the river on a daily basis (other than inclement weather conditions)
