Asilia Suites are owner-managed self-catering apartments where our goal is to provide guests with a luxurious stay in this wonderfully beautiful seaside town. Knysna is a popular tourist attraction, well placed along the famous Garden Route - you will be greeted with a list of activities and places of interest, along with our restaurant recommendations and best places to visit.

Property information

The property is centrally located, only a few minutes stroll from the Knysna Waterfront, with views of the famous lagoon, a host of restaurants and numerous souvenir shops. It's also a quick walk to Knysna Mall where all your shopping needs will be satisfied. The rooms are luxuriously elegant and modern, tastefully decorated in a distinct African style. Most rooms include balconies overlooking the surrounding town or lagoon. Various activities in the area include whale watching or sunset boat trips, visits to nearby animal sanctuaries like the Knysna Elephant Park, Garden of Eden and Featherbed Nature Reserve. For the more active visitor, there are diverse hiking trails, mountain biking, sand-boarding and quad-biking tours in the immediate area. The Blue Flag beach at Brenton-on-Sea is a mere 20-minute drive away. Knysna Heads viewpoint is also a short 10-minute drive, where you'll be awarded with stunning views of the town and lagoon. Knysna is a town surrounded by the natural beauty of forests, beaches and the famous Knysna estuary which leads out to sea through the iconic Knysna Heads. It is easily reached by local flights into nearby George or Plettenberg Bay Airports The town was formed over 200 years ago, and has grown steadily around the beautiful forests which give the Garden Route it's name. The property is located centrally one block from the well known Knysna Waterfront, but far enough away from the CBD to provide a quiet nights sleep with minimal noise. There are multiple waters-edge restaurant's and bar options in the immediate area with fantastic shopping opportunities
