Centrally located Sedgefield grants easy access to the entire Garden Route and Klein Karoo and being 4 hours drive from Port Elizabeth and 5,5 hours from Cape Town it is the ideal location and base for exploring the Eastern and Western Cape Regions of South Africa. Available local activities include fishing, horse riding, canoeing, walking, abseiling, shark diving, whale watching, museums visits to a plethora of cuisines. If you are up for scenic drives you can go to Oudshoorn, the Cango Caves, Cape Town and the ever expanding wine routes of the Klein Karoo, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Swartland.
