We are a Dutch couple that fell in love with the beauty and friendliness of South Africa. In 2016 we emigrated to follow our dreams. After a year in Cape Town we moved to Stellenbosch where we had a small B&B. With our rescue dogs Basil and Skye we had so much fun with all the local and international guests. We love sharing our enthusiasm about all the gems the Western Cape has to offer. Some guests appreciated the small tips about the mountain hikes, nature parks or wildlife. With other guests we had extended chats about food, wine, culture, arts, sports, road trips and our adventures. After four and a half years, which included the challenging lockdown, we are still incredibly happy to live in this colourful country. Based on this success we have decided to grow our business. We found the possibility to grow our B&B on a dream location in an environment where we have many good memories.

Colourful BnB in the Crags is tucked away in the valley, only 3.5 kilometre from the busy N2, 20 minutes driving from Plettenberg Bay, in the heart of the Garden Route. Our colourful, privately situated and tranquil BnB, with a breath-taking mountain view, will be the perfect spot to combine relaxing in nature and exploring all the gems in the area. In the Main house we have the Family room (max. 4 persons) and the Garden room (max. 2 persons). . As guests you have to share the living, kitchen, dining area and swimming pool. Both rooms have their own porch or roof terrace. In a separate building we the Studio (max. 4 persons) you have to share the swimming pool with the other guests.

On our doorstep you find the Tsitsikama Forest with its ancient yellowwood trees for awesome hikes, the Indian Ocean beaches for a relaxing day, the Outeniqua Mountains with beautiful flora and fauna, multiple world-famous animal sanctuaries, wine farms and extreme activities like the world’s highest bungy jump, kayaking, tubing and ziplining.
