Nestled on a tranquil 400-hectare off-the-grid sheep farm, just 9 kilometers from Springbok town, our newly built three-bedroom home offers modern comfort in harmony with nature. Each bedroom is en suite, featuring full bathrooms for your convenience. Our farmhouse is entirely off the grid, powered by renewable solar energy, yet equipped with all the luxuries you need, including fast WiFi. It’s the perfect place to unwind while staying connected. Cooling is provided by an energy-efficient evaporative cooler, ideal for our dry climate. The cooler can run all day, but we only ask that it be turned off when guests retire at night as it is energy demanding. Individual fans are available for each bedroom. Surrounded by breathtaking 360-degree vistas unique to the region, the farm invites you to relax and take in the beauty of the landscape. This is not a commercial farm; instead, a kind shepherd tends to a small flock of sheep and is happy to assist with any needs during your stay. Nature lovers will appreciate the special indigenous plants and trees dotting the property, including a remarkable 400-year-old Kokerboom close to the house. And for those who delight in stargazing, our dark skies offer a celestial spectacle like no other. We have two outdoor security cameras for guest and property safety: Front Garden Camera: Faces the sheep night pen and has no view of the house exterior or interior. Back Yard Camera: Monitors only the back yard, side and rear exterior of the house, and the car parking area. We hope you’ll feel at home here and come to love our holiday farm as much as we do.
