This self-catering cottage is a lovely, renovated home with new furnishings. Induku is where up-market amenities meet with a rustic Cape Winelands farm feel where guests will have everything they need to enjoy their stay with us. From full satellite TV (DSTV) to a bottle opener, we have provided everything that you will need to enjoy making a meal, having a BBQ (braai) and relax. We are situated only 5km from the heart of Stellenbosch which is an iconic town both historically and today. The town boasts numerous museums, art galleries, beautiful restaurants and boutique shops nestled among ancient oak trees lining the streets. Induku is surrounded by numerous wine estates so come and enjoy the famous Cape Winelands from within the heart thereof.

Induku is a lovely spot on our working family farm. We as South African farmers grow lemons, soft citrus and pears for tables all over the world. But our main products are various grape varieties for the local wine and sparkling wine industry. We as family love entertaining, drinking wine, exploring our area and sharing our finds with others. We love where we live and we look forward to sharing it with you.

Induku is situated on the family farm Goedvertrouw. With the well known Eertse River running through it, hill top views of Table Mountain, beautiful orchards and vineyards the farm is an attraction unto itself. Guests can enjoy lovely long walks on the farm and truly get a sense of what a successful working farm looks like. Being so close to Stellenbosch (5km) we are ideally situated to enjoy the best of all the tourist attractions the town has to offer, but to also feel as though one is breaking away from the hustle and bustle of suburban life. Directly opposite Goedvertrouw is a wine estate known as Asara which has a beautiful restaurant and wine tasting facilites. Next door to Goedvertrouw is the wine farm, Vredenheim. They have two lovely restaurants, beautiful gardens and various African wildlife species that one can visit. This includes the Vredenheim Cat Park where one can view, amongst others, lion, leopard and tigers. Keep in mind that Induku is only 36km from Cape Town Airport and 50km from Table Mountain and so making day trips to the mother city an easy outing.
