Kamberg Cottages, in the heart of KAMBERG VALLEY, has 2 cottages: Gumtree Cottage (4sleeper) and Barn Owl Cottage (up to 9sleeper) Both offer full self-catering stays. A Small dam on the property with tubes and kayaks, lots of lawn, board games. Close to 3 hiking reserves (Kamberg Reserve & Rock art centre, Highmoor Reserve and Giants Castle Reserve)with waterfalls and rivers. Bring bikes, running shoes, a set of golf clubs for a country course at neighbouring property, perhaps a well behaved fur baby (request via message) and get into nature. The Cottages are peaceful and secure, a tonic for those that seek a country base to just be. NO TV, good mobile network, no WiFi. Although the last 30km of road is gravel & uneven in place (under extensive rehabilitation), it is quiet enough to weave the road with reduced speed in daylight. Accessible in most vehicles. The cottages are simple, clean, humble (not fancy) a perfect unpretentious country hideaway!

Married to Scott with 2 teenage daughters, Kamberg Cottages are made to be shared! This is our family country escape, but when we are tied up in the smog we love to share it with outdoors, country loving solo's, couples and families!

A peaceful farming community away from bright lights, traffic and "busyness". Surrounded by wonderful Drakensberg mountain ranges and reserves. We neighbour with beef and timber farming. The last 30km is a little adventurous but not bad!
