As from German background I decided on the name Kniff un Gaffel - meaning Knife and Fork. As a qualified graphic designed I carefully decorate our guest house - combining the old world charm with modern style. After years of cooking experience detail and quality food is my passion. Me and my team are proud to prepare true South African cuisine on the premises. As I stay on the premises I always prepare to help and guide guest with requests whether tour guides etc. I love being around people and always being part of conversations and let guest feel at home - people from different countries leaves as friends and not as guests!

Kniff un Gaffel was originally built before 1900 and the old plot house was restored to its original beauty so that the guests can experience South African style and hospitality. Kniff un Gaffel is delightfully different and combines an atmosphere of old world charm with a unique modern style. Our slogan is: "home away from home". We do have 18 stylish decor en-suite rooms with private entrances, safe surroundings and secure parking. A TV, bar fridge, tea/coffee facilities are in each room and air-con in some of the delux rooms. We can accommodate up to 40 people when sharing. Our conference/training venue, is fully equip with a DVD system, proxima, big screen and white boards. We cater for weddings, corporate or private functions, music evenings with a fully licence bar on premises. Our guests are welcome to use the braai area and Wi-Fi and secure parking on premises. The premises are under 24/7 surveillance cameras and in direct contact with Kilnerpark Security Company. Kniff un Gaffel Guest House is a Loyal Merchant of Worldwide cashback card of Lyoness.
