The Landor stud's cottage is located on the Landor stud farm in Maanhaarrand in the Northwest province of South Africa where we breed Warm blood sport horses and farm with hay, sheep and cattle. The cottage is completely private with a great "stoep" (patio) to relax and "braai" (barbeque) on. The cottage is completely renovated and is brand new. The cottage is fenced off and pet friendly. The cottage has good security. The farm has walking trails, bird watching and pick-nick spots with beautiful mountain views. The cottage is spacious and furnished to a high standard with a beautiful fire place for the winter chill.

Your hosts are Herman and Karen Bekker, we reside on the farm and are active farmers. We traveled a lot in our younger days and therefore understand how important it is for our guests to feel welcome and safe. We live on the farm and is always available assist in our clients needs.

We are situated on the foot of the Magaliesberg mountain range and surrounded by farmlands. There are numerous game farms, small graft breweries, restaurants in the area. The area is safe with no pollution and has clean mountain air and pure borehole water. Its a beautiful clean farming environment. The farm is located 2 km from the Breedts nek pass (dirt road) where the Battle of Nooitchedacht in the Anglo Boer war took place with all the old forts and a small monument and graveyard. You can ride your mountain bike, go on hikes and explore the surrounding area. We are in a mild dry climate with the average winter temp of 24 degrees C. The summer can be hot with an average above 30 degrees C. We are surrounded by game reserves with one hosting the big 5 just down the road. Come and enjoy a relaxing time on the farm.
