Situated on top of a hill looking over the Outeniqua and the Swartberg mountains, Le Petit Karoo offers luxury tents and rooms in a tranquil setting. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
Each of the tents features a private, outdoor hot tub, and all of the rooms have en suite bathrooms. Every type of accommodation has immediate access to a deck area with extensive views. There are tea/coffee facilities provided.
A fresh breakfast is prepared daily and can be enjoyed on the deck. There is a restaurant which serves local and the braai facilities can be used for a traditional barbecue.
Guests can relax beside the pool or take part in an outdoor activity, such as a horseback ride or tour of the Karoo region.
Free private parking is available on site and the town of Oudtshoorn is 12 km drive away. George Airport is 60 km away.

Tracy and Karen come from the Hotel and Casino industry. They have a crazy friendship of 20 years and bought Le Petit Karoo from Pascal in June 2024 and have been working hard to bring it back to life. The views from all the rooms and buildings are what made them fall in love with Le Petit Karoo and they hope to welcome everyone to their little farm that they love so much.

Oudtshoorn is such a great place for activities. Le Petit Karoo Ranch is situated halfway between the little town of Oudtshoorn and the majestic, very popular Cango Caves. On the way there are many attractions such as a game farm, a wine farm, a camel farm, an ostrich farm (right next door), restaurants and of course beautiful nature!
