With access through our domestic property, the cottage is situated at the back of our garden and is very private. The cottage is fully equipped with linen, towels, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, and is self-catering. A refrigerator and gas cooker are also provided. Quaint, homely, and extremely clean it consists of an open-plan lounge and kitchen, one large bedroom with a double bed, or two singles if required and an en-suite shower-room.

I have a number of interests and I am passionate about people .. I have been a host since 2017, having relocated from my previous guest facility named "The Garden Cottage on 140 Fordyce". Prospective guests will be able to read the reviews I received for The Garden Cottage. Both myself and my partner, Dave, are retired so are available 24 hours a day. I love interacting with my guests, but do allow them the privacy they wish for. We have an open door policy for guests to approach us at any time should they feel the need.

​​​​​Mount Croix is a very centrally situated area, close to The Grey Boys' Schools and Collegiate Girls' Schools as well where many sporting activities take place. We are also close to (within walking distance) St George's Cricket Grounds where international and domestic cricket matches take place. The cricket grounds are situated within the beautiful St George's Park. We are within driving distance (5 minutes) from the Port Elizabeth Stadium where international and domestic football and rugby matches are played. Close-by are Greenacres and The Bridge Shopping Malls. We are also close to a number of restaurants situated in the very cosmopolitan area of Richmond Hill. Hospitals, both private and state, are situated in Mount Croix, Greenacres and Hallack.
