Motubane Guest Farm is less than 50km from Johannesburg and our entrance road is 2.2km from the main entrance of the Bothongo Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve in the Kromdraai area with beautiful views of the Magaliesburg Mountains.
Our guest house is built with containers, and we operate totally off the grid. with an upstairs area that give our guests 360 view where you can enjoy sundowners and if you lucky you will see a variety of antelope, on quite nights, you will sometimes hear the Lions roar.
On warm days, you can enjoy our splash pool for 2 downstairs which will only be filled with water on our guest arrival.
We invite you to come and experience the Cradle of Humankind - which was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 1999.
Relax, read a book, watch birds and or just do some daydreaming in our gardens
For those who are interested you can there is horse riding in the area or you can do cycling & hiking on our farm or the farm next to us.
We close to a number of fantastic day outing facilities i.e. Trout Fishing, a visit to Maropeng or the Wonder Caves and the Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve.
