Aneta and I love being hosts and making our guests have a great time. We start by sharing opening our home to guests so they can enjoy the great views, mountain and sea environment of Hout Bay. We love the great outdoors, biking, running, swimming and travelling.

Off grid, solar and rainwater/municipal water harvesting. Note appartment is compact and not recommended for more than 5 adults but can accommodate up to 7 if you don’t mind being a bit cramped. Grapevined mini garden with kid size splash pool. Breakfast and meals maybe be ordered for delivery using the Mr. D app. Alternatively using Uber Eats. Mountain/ocean views. Enjoy mountain (+bit of ocean) views in this natural location. 4th bedroom available if you book for 6-7+ people (note we strongly advise not to book for more than 5 people as the flat is only 88 sqm -small!). For 5 and less people we provide 3 bedrooms. Can accommodate 2 extra guests (if they can share a small double - not advisable due to small size of flat) to a total occupancy of 8 (each of 4 rooms accommodating 2 ideally with 4 kids for smaller doubles). Kids under 6 free. Once again the ideal number of occupants is 5 or less however it is up to you if you want to squeeze in more to save money but be quite cramped. Located in Hout Bay where the Ocean meets panoramic mountains, sunsets and skies. Wake up to birds. Bidets available.

Here area few ideas of things to do locally.. Chapman's Peak drive is really spectacular with lots of view points along the way. We like buying fish and chips at Snookies and taking it up to one of the view sites to have a picnic with a glass of wine. If you are not planning to drive all the way through to Noodhoek on Chapman's peak drive you can go up the turning point if you request a free day pass at the toll booth. The day pass is only valid during daylight hours. The Protea Day Spa in Hout Bay offers very good massages at really reasonable rates. The Chapman's Peak Hotel has tasty fried calamari and great to sit outside on the terrace on a sunny day. The Hout Bay Manor is a charming historical venue with a restaurant that has a very good food offering. A very special little local coffee shop, Hout Bay Coffee, tucked away in a building across the parking lot opposite Wheelers Pharmacy is well worth a visit.. they have delicious baked goods and roast their own coffee beans. There is also the Seattle Coffee Shop with nice gluten free muffins. The Velocity Gym is a short drive away (5-10 minutes). World of birds is just around the corner - a spectacularly eccentric wildlife sanctuary where you can immerse yourself amongst birds, monkeys and other animals. Great for kids. There are numerous adorable vineyards nearby but we recommend buying some bottles of wine at Groot Constantia (Napoleon's favorite wine supposedly came from here). If you like to cook and/or braai seafood, then head over to Hooked On Africa (5 minutes drive) for fresh fish from the bay. You can also enjoy numerous lovely restaurants and eateries in town. Dario’s comes highly recommended for takeaways pizzas etc. The Hout Bay Market is open from Friday (to 2100) to Sunday (1600). This is a lovely visit with numerous food stalls and live music. You are spoilt for choice with multiple nearby beaches. Islamic guests -Mosque and Halal available in Hout Bay.
