The large open plan kitchen features a modern granite topped bar counter which forms the heart of the home and is perfect for entertaining. The house is decked with balau wooden decking front and back and creates two separate entertainment areas with mountain and sea views respectively. Sandbaai is one of the newer suburbs in the greater Hermanus area that lies literally in a little sandy bay, hence its name. It is a stone’s throw away from Hermanus and to the east of Onrus, little over an hour’s drive from Cape Town at the entrance to the Hemel-en-Aarde (Heaven and Earth) Valley which places it in a most advantageous position. Just beyond Sandbaai, the Hemel-en-Aarde village has a large variety of shops, farm stalls, galleries, studios, jewelers and restaurants, and a wine route which is a popular way to spend most of a day. But what makes Sandbaai unique is it's position sandwiched between the sea and the slopes of the Onrust Mountains, between the Onrus River and Hermanus that places it in one of the most beautiful parts of the world.
