I started the Self-catering Units to share the peace & beauty of the property that my parents built over many years, with other nature lovers. It gives me a warm feeling of satisfaction if people are enjoying the space we created as well as everything that nature offers around us. Some farm animals on the neighbouring property even gives you a real farm feeling but with all the modern day luxury & amenities that most guests appreciate.

Enjoy the sounds of nature staying in any of these Self-catering Units 2 km outside of Swellendam: the LUXURY & BRIDAL Suite – our new Unit, Pool Cottage & Guest Suite are all fully self catering Units. The Luxury & Bridal sweet has a beautiful hand crafted canopy bed for romantic visits. The Bridal and Guest suite both have a beautiful old charm bathroom with Victorian bath to relax in as well as shower facilities. The Pool Cottage is right next to the swimming pool with amazing views of the mountains even from inside the Unit. All Units are spread out within the amazing garden with breath taking views of the Langeberg Mountains & each one has unique features making it suitable for different needs of guests. It is really a peaceful Haven where you can relax & enjoy nature with plenty of bird life outside your Unit OR have all modern amenities to make your stay comfortable inside your Unit. You'll see it as home from home, with beauty & tranquility to recharge or use as base to explore the beautiful Overberg area.

You will find that because we are just outside of the Swellendam CBD, the 3rd oldest settlement of South Africa, many tourist attractions are available to make your stay a very memorable one: a variety of restaurants, coffee shops & boutique shops, historic buildings and museum, sightseeing, hiking trails and award winning wineries in neighbouring towns. Nature lovers can explore three close-by CAPE NATURE PARKS as well as the Bontebok National Park, which is just across the N2 from us. We are also perfectly located to visit the Swellendam surrounding areas; with the southernmost tip of Africa and De Hoop Nature reserve being only 100km away and the Klein Karoo and famous Route 62 about half an hour drive from Swellendam. We are also situated halfway between Cape Town and George, being only two hours’ drive away with the convenience of an airport in both metropolitan areas, which makes this the perfect stop over to unwind when traveling between these two beautiful cities on one of the most famous scenic routes in South Africa.
