The room is situated on the lower no step level of the main house on our gated and fenced property, providing exclusive privacy and separateness. There are no steps and free parking is available right next to the unit. Newly renovated, the room boasts a comfortable queen-sized, extra length bed with quality linen for the ultimate nights sleep and and on-suite bathroom. The room also comes with a 32 inch smart TV with DSTV and Netflix. Private parking is available right next to the suite and there is ample on site secure parking if you are towing a boat, caravan or driving a large bakkie, truck/lorry. The suite also includes a desk in case you need to get work done, a bar fridge to store any refreshments you would like, a microwave, toaster, kettle and of course tea, coffee and homemade rusks. Please note that there is no kitchen and breakfast is not provided. Therefore, our accommodation is best suited for short term stays. An outdoor sink, garbage bin, basic cutlery, crockery and cleaning products are provided. Iron and board, broom and mop are provided. Hairdryer upon request. Basic servicing of the suite is available daily (except weekends and public holidays) upon request at a fee. This can be arranged with the host upon arrival. As you step out of your room you will be greeted by our green garden space and pool to which you will have full access including sun loungers and an outdoor table, chairs and umbrella if you cannot get enough of the Durban weather. Kindly use amenities, such as the pool at your own risk. If any items are lost or broken, we will be in touch to discuss replacement fees. Regrettably, no children, pets or persons other than guests are permitted. Your safety is our number one priority and we want you to feel at ease on your stay so the property is fixed with 24 hour CCTV and secure parking within the property. The room also has an indoor safe for you to store any valuables for extra peace of mind.

I so enjoy being a host. It is a wonderful experience to continuously meet so many different, interesting persons. Being of Mediterranean descent, we are very family orientated. We love to entertain our family and friends and we are pleased that our home is a happy place!

If you are traveling to Durban on business or are a couple looking for a quiet getaway, our private room on suite (no kitchen) has everything you need to make your trip a memorable one. Just a short drive from the highway, you are able to get to the bustling Umhlanga beach front or town business district in no time and once you have finished with your plans for the day, you can return to your room and wind down for the evening with a swim. A peaceful night's rest is almost always guaranteed as the property is in a quiet & safe residential suburban area. Please note breakfast is unavailable.
