Raapfontein is a working sheep farm, 15 km from Hanover offering self catering accommodation. We have two bedrooms with a double bed and six twin beds. The second bedroom is on the upper level with a toilet and basin. The main bathroom is down stairs with shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen and small dining area is perfect for preparing your own meals. Outside is a undercover braai area and undercover parking. Pets are welcome at an additional fee. Guests can help feed farm animals and enjoy the beautiful Karoo night sky. Meal options available.
I am wife to a farmer and mother to three beautiful kids. We love travelling and prefer to stay in places that are tranquil and have beautiful nature surroundings. We also like hosting guests and look forward to share our little piece of heaven on earth. We live on the farm but want to offer guests their privacy. You are always welcome to phone, email of drop by with any questions while staying with us.
We love the clean air and fresh water. The nights are quite with stars filling the night sky letting you feel relaxed after a long day on the road. Raapfontein is accessible by car and there is ample parking. Hanover is 17 km away with three restaurant options.
