Situated about a kilometre away from the famous Boulders Beach and its penguins, the property is perched on the hill with magnificent views of False bay. Four out of the 5 rooms are with sea views. The residence has just been fully renovated to high standards with the addition of an infinity pool. We try to have as little house rules as possible to enable our guests to relax and enjoy themselves providing that other guests, staff and the premises are respected. You wanna sleep in and enjoy a late breakfast, no problem. On a bed and breakfast basis we can cook lunches, dinners or prepare picnic baskets on request. We want you to feel like you are visiting friends or family when you come to us. To promote peace, tranquility and relaxation we only cater for adults. We do have a resident pet, Francesca, who is a old lady staffy. Should you be allergic or just not keen on our 4 legged friends please let us know as we can contain her to private quarters.

When I dreamed this guest house I imagined evenings with friends mingling with guests - each of whom at that magical moment just before they arrive hold all the promise and possibility of new stories and fresh friendships - and even neighbours who’ve simply decided there’s something better cooking next door … This is intended to be a real guest house, not the loveless, over-stylised impersonal service of a boutique hotel. This is my home, where the door is always open and there’s always space at the table for one more. I am in my forties, originally from France which I left in my twenties. Since then I have lived alternatively in the UK and South Africa. After a break down in my marriage in the UK, I decided to come back to sunny South Africa to realise an old dream: Running my own guest house. I have worked just about all my life in the hospitality industry but more in restaurants. My big achievement was to work with Franck Dangereux as his front of house manager for La Colombe restaurant. I see this new venture as a life style not a profession, I just love receiving house guests, entertaining them and making them feel really special!!

From here, there is a wide array of fabulous things to do. The beach is in walking distance (I will even deliver a picnic basket to you if that pleases you), there are golf courses, diving club, hiking trails. Muizenberg is famous for it's surfing. The Constantia Valley wine route is 20 minutes down the road. Cape point nature reserve is a few kilometres away. Then, if you venture a little further, Cape town, the winelands are just a little drive away.
