Sugar Shack Paternoster is a beautiful white washed cottage that is situated only a 5 minute walk to the beach in Paternoster. This 3 bedroomed/bathroomed house has been featured in many magazines and has been carefully furnished with beautiful white linen and whitewashed furniture and has a variety of South African art pieces on the walls. Sugar Shack is ideal for a family or friends up to 6 people The house has bespoke KitchenAid equipment and is a gourmet traveller's dream. This cosy and stylish house boasts an indoor fire place, a weather protected veranda with barbecue facilities for windy and chilly days and a sun terrace upstairs with a large seating area and a hammock that boasts magnificent 360 degree views over the sea and Paternoster village. Sugar Shack is pet friendly (no more than 2 dogs) as the house boasts a small enclosed Olive tree garden. Families will be well entertained with Satelite/DSTV TV a DVD player and a variety of board games. Sugar Shack offers secure parking for two cars as well as the benefit of guests being able to stroll into the village during the day.

Owners Ian and Lise are ex hoteliers that have a passion for the Hospitality industry. They run a markering and PR agency, specialising in hospitality clients from their hometown of Riebeek Kasteel. 10 years ago, they fell in love with the beautiful village of Paternoster and built a holiday home for their small family. Quickly they decided to make the house available to holiday makers so they too could enjoy the beauty of Paternoster and their beautiful cottage. Lise engaged the services of Helen Hart to meet all guests and to look after them during their stay. Helen manages a few properties in Paternoster.

Paternoster situated on the West Coast and 90 minutes from Cape Town, is one of the oldest fishing villages in South Africa. Over the years this white washed village has become very popular with South African's and International guests because of it's beauty and quaintness. For the hungry, the village boasts a variety of excellent restaurants that features the famous Reuben's restaurant, the Voorstrand restaurant that is situated right on the beach, the highly acclaimed Wolfgat restaurant, the Noisy Oyster as well as the new Leeto restaurant that offers magnificent food in a beautiful setting. For guests that are adventurous, kayaking, windsurfing, horseriding, beach buggy tours, beach trails for hiking and running, are all locally available. And if guests are more into relaxing, Abalone House & Spa offers a selection of fabulous spa treatments to indulge in. Paternoster has a small convenience store that stocks everything guests could need for their stay. It is important to note that guests should arrive with their own vehicle as there are no taxis or Uber vehicles available.
