This five-star hotel is situated in the city centre, walking distance from the Company's Gardens, parliament and buzzing Bree Street bars and restaurants. Upon arrival your car will be whisked away and luggage taken to your apartment. Book dinner in the top restaurants around us via the concierge desk. This specific apartment (unit 906) is on the corner of the building and offers beautiful city views including Table Mountain, Lion's Head and the foreshore from its long balcony. The furnishings are plush and decadent and patrons have a long list of luxurious pillow offerings available from reception should the Cape Town winter prove too cold to venture outside. The unit offers two televisions, a full kitchen unit, a small office, large lounge, Nespresso machine and a large well-equipped bathroom. If you are a coffee consumer, the Nespresso machine and sufficient pods will proof to be a nice touch. Have early evening drinks in the bar area on the ground floor where you have an almost-exhaustive choice of cocktails and premium wines. As is expected of a hotel in this range, slippers, robes and other nice-to-haves will wait for you before retiring for the evening.
Host used to work in the historical bank (Board of Executors - now Nedbank) that was housed in this building prior to the splendid renovation and conversion into the current TAJ hotel.
This privately owned luxurious one bedroom apartment is situated in the TAJ hotel in the heart of Cape Town opposite the famous VOC gardens, Parliament and St. Georges Cathedral. Walking distance from top rated restaurants and coffee shops. Shuttles to Waterfront can be booked at the Concierge as well as tailored trips to the wine-lands and beyond. The area is very safe and the concierge service is top rated.
