At The Boshoff, our family-run guesthouse offers a choice of three rooms in the main building, plus a charming garden cottage and cosy suite. Tucked away in the peaceful suburb of The Bluff (south of Durban's CBD), it is important to note that we’re not close to the city centre or within walking distance of Durban’s main beaches and attractions. However, with your own car or a 20 minute Uber ride, guests can enjoy Ushaka and Durban's main attraction. Our accommodation blends comfort and style with a relaxed, casual feel. Each of our 5 self-catering units features a fully equipped kitchenette, a separate (private) bathroom, its own outdoor patio area, and dedicated parking. Whether you’re visiting Durban for business or a well-deserved break, The Boshoff provides everything you need for a comfortable and restful stay. As responsible hosts, we value both our guests and our community. For everyone’s comfort, we reserve the right of admission and apply our house rules and terms and conditions fairly but firmly to ensure a positive experience for all.

The Boshoff is situated in a quiet, family neighbourhood south of Durban's CBD. It is the ideal home-away-from-home for families or for holidaymakers who want to relax in a quiet environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city when they are not at the beach or sightseeing. The listing is conveniently located 1,9km from our local beaches, including Ansteys and Brighton Beach. These beaches add to the appeal for families who want to enjoy the sun, sea and surf and especially those with kids who will have lots of fun in the paddling pools and tidal pool. If Ushaka Marine World is a must see, it is about 18km from The Boshoff. The Bluff is halfway between Durban's CBD and Amanzimtoti. It offers guests 2 shopping malls, including Bluff Towers and Hillside malls, with most of South Africa's popular chain stores including grocery and clothing stores.

Please read our property's Terms & Conditions prior to confirming your booking. Most important aspects to take into consideration before you check in include:

* Maximum of 1 or 2 guests allowed to book into The Boshoff Garden Cottage, The Boshoff Comfy Spot, The Boshoff Corner King, The Boshoff Compact Double or The Boshoff Suite - in accordance with the number of guests paid for per person per room.

* No additional guests are allowed on the property other than those present and signed in at check in. NO VISITORS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

* No additional guests allowed to sleep over on the property including all of the accommodation options available at The Boshoff. Should any additional guests be found to have slept over on the property you will be fined at a premium rate of R600 per person per night.

* No parties or functions are permitted. Each room/unit/cottage has its own outdoor/patio area designed to accommodate the occupants of that accommodation option. It is therefore restricted to the occupants of each unit, ie. occupants of different units are not permitted to congregate together as a group.

* No loud noise.

* No noise after 22h00pm and before 06h00am.

* No music allowed to be played in car park or from car speakers.

* The suite/room/cottage must be left in the same condition as you found it at the time of check in. If not left in the same condition, a cleaning fee will be charged at check out.

* Check in is strictly between 14h00 and 18h00. Check in between 18h00 and 21h00 is by PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY and will incur a late check in fee of R250. Late check ins will not be accommodated if prior arrangement of at least 24 hours was not made. No check in after 21h00 (no refunds issued).

* Check out is no later than 10h00.
