The Vishuis is a fisherman's cottage, situated in the centre of Hermanus. This refurbished heritage building has a garden and splash pool. The individually decorated rooms are situated around the courtyard and offer a seating area and TV. Vishuis is stylishly decorated with an extensive collection of contemporary South African art. There is a seating area and a kitchen. Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. Bike hire is available nearby and the area is popular for seasonal whale watching, golfing and horse riding. The Vishuis provides free private parking available on site, and Cape Town International is 78 km from the property.

The Vishuis is a heritage Fishermans cottage in the center of the old village. It has been renovated to a luxury guesthouse. It is decorated with a collection of contemporary South African Art. Because of its location, guests are able to walk to restaurants, cafes, shops, bars, the old Harbour, the cliff path and the marine tidal pool. We offer facilities for The Digital Nomads wishing to work remotely .- fast fibre WiFi - 2min from trendy coffee shops - quiet cosy village atmosphere .
I enjoy the interaction with our guests . I have traveled South Africa extensively and have a wide knowledge of the far flung hidden gems that the Overberg has to offer. We are continuously updating our art works which we source from our wonderful and creative local artists. I have a great passion for music and a extensive film and audio visual knowledge.
The Vishuis is in the center of the old village, but in a quiet back road. It is a hidden gem. When guests are inside the Vishuis it is hard to believe that they are in the middle of the village, it is very transportative. But the joys of being able to stroll out for coffee or a walk or swim is very relaxing.
