We are a British couple living in Cape Town. We fell in love with the city, and Hout Bay offers everything we love. We’re passionate about food and drink, having owned several restaurants in the UK up to Michelin level. We love wine, and having some of the best vineyards in the country on our door step is a bonus. There are numerous hiking and biking trails, the beach is just a few minutes drive away, and some of the most spectacular scenery surrounds our lovely guest house. We have completely refurbished the guest house, taking a year to complete. The guest house includes 10 different rooms, with private access, most with full kitchens, and all with private bathrooms and decent facilities for both long and short term stays. We have an honesty bar located by the sauna and pool, where guests can unwind, with views of the table mountain national park. The house is called Tranquility guesthouse as it offers a peaceful retreat for those looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind.
