Hotel ibis Gent includes a 24-hour front desk and a bar which serves a selection of local beers and Belgian specialties. On check in staff extremely friendly helpful . Room was exceptional clean with comp water and cookies. Key card was great . You could only use lift and public toilets with it .very safe . We went to bar for food and there the girl was so helpful. During our stay we were very helpful staff . We hadn't in used ibis in about 15 years but now it will be our first choice for city breaks .

The 3-star ibis Gent Centrum Opera is located in historic Ghent, a 2-minute walk from the Flemish Opera House and a 10-minute walk from Saint Bavo's Cathedral, the Belfry of Ghent and Korenmarkt Square. The hotel includes air-conditioned rooms and an on-site bar. The hotel deserves way more than the maximum score on a 4-point rating system. Staff: Super friendly and helpful. I had an important meeting in the afternoon and was very nervous beforehand. The staff at the reception not only arranged an early check-in but also helped me print out some handouts, which made it much easier for me to prepare for the meeting. Cleanliness: The hotel itself, as well as the room I stayed in, was very neat and clean. All facilities, including the hairdryer in the room, were available. Location: The location of the hotel is excellent – it’s just a short stroll to the historic city centre, yet the hotel is situated in a calm and quiet area, allowing you to rest and sleep without being disturbed by outside noise.
