The hotel was perfect. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast had a good selection.
It it in the quiet residential area and very close to the Main Street and the train station. 10 minutes walk to the ocean and less than 5 minutes to the train station. The hotel is very basic from IBIS but clean bathroom.

The Ibis met all my expectations of a railway hotel. My single room was small but clean. The location really only a few steps from the station, and a 20 minute easy walk to the Promenade and other sights. I didn’t have the breakfast, but took a walk past and there seemed to be lots of choices, both sweet and savoury. The pool and the area around it was a lovely place to cool off on a hot afternoon.
We book our room at Ibis, but they moved us at Mercure. The two hotels are in the same area. The location is great, we enjoyed a lot the silence and the pool of the hotel. The staff was always kind and helpful. On each floor are water dispensers in the hallway, with cold still or sparkling water. Free parking is a plus and there are a lot of parking places. There are also two restaurants, one at Ibis, and one at Mercure. We liked most the one at the Ibis, La Boucherie.
Great location when working in Cannes, bit noisy at night around the bars and restaurants outside, but the Ibis is a really nice little home from home - clean, efficient and a really nice Team on the desk. Shame when a show starts everything gets so expensive...
