The hotel location is awesome - easy to go to everywhere in the city from the hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable room. And everything I used was working well too (air conditioning, hairdryer, TV, shower, elevators).

A new generation of Ibis hotels, Porto Centro combines great-value accommodation with contemporary design. The hotel features free Wi-Fi in all public areas and is a 5-minute walk from Bolhão Metro Station. People were friendly. There was always someone available to help in Portuguese, Spanish and English. They cleaned the room everyday, changed the towels, sheets, etc. The Internet was good and there were a lot of options on TV. The location is good, you can easily walk to the city center. Breakfast started really early everyday which was perfect because I was on a business trip and needed to leave early in the morning. Very convenient both for business or leisure trips.

All rooms at Hotel ibis Porto São João offer desks, free WIFI and private bathrooms with a tub or shower and hairdryer. They are equipped with a flat screen TV with cable and satellite channels.
Very convenient location just next to a metro stop, making reaching the center quite simple and fast. Parking is private and free, which is a big bonus. Breakfast was nice, I love the pastel de nata touch!

The employees were very friendly and helped immediately with everything I wanted to know and asked. The room is very basic (like Ibis Budget generally is), but perfect just to have a room for a night. We came back to the hotel after we were at a freezing and raining festival. The hot shower and the bed were a dream after the freezing situation before. Parking is also fantastic. When the parking lot is full, you just park in one of the other parking lots from the other hotels and give the ticket to the reception to validate.

We got 2 buses into the historic centre. But we realized we could get a taxi or Uber for 8 euro and so cheaper. Free parking. So location was good. Facilities as you expect from ibis.

Lovely room, perfect location and the Hosts are fantastic. Simple but perfect for that budget holiday. Only 10-15 mins or so to the river. 5 minutes to the Metro much cheaper than taxi to airport. Another 5 minutes to Sao Bento railway Station to go to Aveiro, Braga, dont miss Braga and go on the ferry on the river to Gaia , beautiful. I will be back Theresa and Pedro and Mom. Thank you.

Clean and comfortable ideal for overnight stay. It was a little cramped for us - tiny shower and sink actually in the room, no separate bathroom but we expected that for a Budget Ibis. Moved across the road to the Ibis for our remaining 3 nights. Nice breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful. It was a little out of the City centre but a €6 taxi ride took roughly 10 mins depending on traffic

excellent location friendly and helpful staff. When you leave the hotel according to the price you give, you may think whether I am really staying here for this price. It has very cheap rooms for its location and quality.
