Lovely place, the view and the garden are spectacular! Room clean and really nice breakfast! The owner is amazing, his smile and kindness were priceless! Really close to the main beautiful spot in Santa Teresa, highly recommended!

The host is an absolute sweetheart, we were able to communicate via a translator app. The property usually requires to prepay one night via PIX (which is a local analog of PayPal), but since we didn’t have it, was flexible about it. The place is on an island and the vibe of island life is different from the big city, we loved it. Traveling with a ferry was no problem, you don’t usually wait for it longer than a few minutes and it’s not expensive, just have some cash ready (3 Real per person to the island or 6, if you wanna be dropped off closer to the property). We were able to leave our bags for the day before the flight. Breakfast (coffee and a sandwich) was a nice surprise and was delicious. There was a hummingbird feeder, so you have a good chance of seeing one. We would love to come again.

Absolutely everything! The Hotel is amazing we can have a completely privacy and the best part of this Hotel is the STAFF. Yes they are more than lovely, professional and helpful, they literally take care of us as a member of the family. We also tried the Spa for two which was absolutely brilliant! We are really grateful to have this memorable experience. Is with not doble our favourite place in Rio de Janeiro. Really thanks to Tamires, Rosana , Maria Jacqueline, the owner and the others member of staff that I cannot remember the name.

Friendly staff and yummy breakfast, as well as the short distance to the Lagoon and beach. I loved the Capibaras, grazing nearby the pousada. A real treat.

Beautiful place to stay! It's located on a hill with an incredible view of Rio. Bibiana was very welcoming and took great care of us and prepared an amazing breakfast every morning. Rooms were clean and spacious. And you can really tell how much work they put into the garden. We are sure to stay here again next time we are in Rio.
