The staff was exceptional and they allowed for early check-in. Breakfast was varied and had many healthy options to leave you ready for the day! The location was great--relatively secluded and about 2.5 miles from city center... a great walk if you're up for it but the bus is right around the corner.

What a charming little guesthouse! The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking. The location was perfect—close to Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken, and other nearby attractions. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious and even had a full sized bathtub. It fit me neck to toe with my head just chilling on the edge. I made good use of it of course to relax after a long day of via ferrata in Kandersteg. For 40 francs this is absolutely insane. Not to mention that breakfast was included with a huge collection of tea bags and drinks to choose from. Also the views out the window were unobstructed and amazing.

Situated in the car-free Wengen in the Jungfrau Region, Hotel Berghaus enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Bernese Alps.

I can’t wait to go back here! The property is located close enough to Wengen train station & town, & 3-4 minutes from the cable car, yet far enough to get some peace & quiet. Each room has a balcony with a lovely view. It was spotless & cleaned each day with fresh towels replaced. The host, Martina is wonderful. She was warm & welcoming, and gave me lots of great tips for hiking & sightseeing. Their continental breakfast was excellent! Soft, freshly baked bread and croissants each morning from the local bakery with fresh cut up fruits & plenty of options for vegans & vegetarians for a healthy & hearty breakfast, served with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. 10/10 recommended.

Situated in the car-free village of Wengen, Hotel Bernerhof is close to Jungfrau’s popular ski tracks. It offers modern accommodation with en suite bathrooms.
