Lovely friendly staff. Great real ale and really delicious food. Very comfortable room and huge tasty breakfast! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rose and Crown it's a little gem!

Great place to stay on a trip to Holmfirth. I ts very cosy and welcoming and right in the centre of the village. The bridge and the river flowing right on it's doorstep is fabulous.

The new owner Stephen made me so welcome. I arrived late, discovered I had left a bag at the airport car hire desk and he immediately said, “No problem. I will wait up for you. “ He did- until just turned midnight! I stayed 2nights and was made really welcome. Great cooked breakfast too!
